Ernie is a seasoned and innovative leader in pickleball with a strong track record in coaching, tournament play, program development, and product innovation. Since 2018, he and his wife Jonna have significantly grown the sport’s presence in the Conroe and Woodlands, TX areas, founding the Lone Star Pickleball Academy and expanding participation to over 500 players. As Lead Instructor at The Woodlands Country Club, he designs and delivers inclusive training programs for all skill levels.
